The catalog is split into the mainline (Acqua di Giò, Sì, Code, Stronger With You) which dominates department-store sales, and the Privé collection, which is the smaller, perfumer-driven niche tier. Armani's house style is restrained Italian classicism (blue Mediterranean freshness, soft woods, controlled sweetness), and the brand's biggest hits tend to be the inoffensive ones rather than the daring ones.
