Synthetic woody-musky molecule with a velvety, slightly powdery feel, supposed to evoke the softness of cashmere fabric. Doesn't smell like any one thing on its own; works as a "warmer" for compositions, giving a soft envelope around the rest of the structure. Common in modern fragrances aiming for "cozy" without going gourmand.
