Sweet, jammy, slightly almond-like underneath: more cherry cola than fresh fruit off the tree. The note has a recognizable plasticky edge thanks to its main aroma molecule (benzaldehyde), which also shows up in almond extract. Cherry took over fragrance in the 2020s, anchoring Tom Ford Lost Cherry and Kilian Rolling in Love. Reads gourmand and a little gothic. Pairs naturally with tonka, almond, and rose.
