lily of the valley

Crisp, green, dewy: the smell of a garden in May. Lily of the valley is a "mute flower" that doesn't yield natural extract, so every fragrance using it is built from synthetic accords (hydroxycitronellal historically, lyral until it was banned, hedione now). Reads as fresh, slightly sharp, and quietly elegant.
